yeah, just the standard catalog "B", but clearly the original owner had been dealing/repairing Gruen for a while. Kept the old doc stored in the new.

Observation on 1876 to 1874: blue book for 1817 has “since 1876” on cover stamp, 1874 in timeline on printed pages. Just a fun fact!

I'd like to learn more about when Gruen stopped using import code GXC on movements. I think I can recall Barney stating 1966 but I'd like to learn a more precise date if anyone knows. Is that bc that requirement for placing it on movement ceased or? Surely they must have still been using a code even if not required on works. Post 66 was it still GXC? I saw some evidence that it maybe been changed...thanks!

I do not have an exact date, but I think it was end of 1967. It is said to have been one of the conclusions of the 1964-1967 GATT Kennedy Round held in Geneva.

Thanks alot for the tip, three years of negotiations? Crazy. I want to dig into this, what's really baffling to me is 3 letter Gruen code that's been updated c.67 but I've never seen on a movement but if not required that could explain it but the update is new.
