And there is a curious image in the introduction of MB's catalogue--it is an oblique image of an actual page in the original Master Book. You can see on that model what I think are 2-3 visible layers of electros (watch images) stacked on each other. So if that MB was ever forensically analyzed, we might have more info on transitions

Closing the loop on Square 31. It became WR17 (seen 6/8/24 NYT). I cannot recognize it in the existing Master Book!

When we worked on the Catalog Mike told me that the previous owner faced a couple of loose photos and tried to repair to the best of his knowledge. In some cases definitely the knowledge did not suffice.

I cannot throw stones. Most of these online scans are not even 10 yr old, and search as we enjoy it not yet 20 yrs old. Makes me grateful for what we have—and for the work Mike and you did! For a new collector even that is now out of print & unreachable.
