I have not yet pinned down a maker. Possibly All-Star blue, if that was still a thing?

Maker should be BCN or Braun-Crystal Manufacturing.

Yes, Mr. Bieser is correct, that's their logo at the bottom side.

From the watch ID thread (ads starting ca 1964) and patent search, I am tentative that this box is circa 1964.
-similar patents were filed 1962-1963, granted 1964
-unless this is covered within USD198948 (some visual differences), patent for this exact box doesn’t appear to have been granted, but found other Gruen boxes
